A word from our Chief Editors
Welcome back to the February (and March) issue of the DUSES newsletter! This month’s theme is on the ugly duckling of the energy industry: Fossil Fuels.
Whereas last months edition focused on new and potentially revolutionary renewable energy technologies, it seems somewhat regressive to focus the next edition on fossils fuels. A big player in a previous era but whose voice and influence now is perhaps louder than it ought to be... a Boomer shall we say. But just because its role is on its way out it does not mean it isn't still important to consider and write about, even a small obituary deserves publishing.
Yet as many of the articles focus on, such as Alexandra's, Sam's or Zachary's, is the era of fossil fuels really coming to an end? Or is it still kicking and screaming, shifting its walker into another gear as it refuses to be left behind? Read on to find out...
Thank you once again to all the editors, writers and designers who contributed to this month’s publication!
Enjoy reading ~ Ollie
